Belize it or not

After a week of stalking one iguana at Robert's Grove, I finally caught him away from his hole at the bottom of a tree.
Because it is mating season, this iguana is colored red to attract a female.  He will shortly return to his camouflage colors, as the females are now laying eggs.
My husband shot the following photos at an iguana hatchery in San Ignacio.

I believe it must be time for dinner.

Yum!
What do mean....save some for the children? What children?
Already hatched?

Egads, they are everywhere!
